Bite-sized batter balls with a kaya centre, sold by the portion.

Cooked in a dimpled pan and turned by hand until round, with kaya inside. Sold by the half-dozen or dozen rather than singly, which lifts the ticket, and the local flavour gives it an advantage over imported dessert concepts in Malaysian malls.
